CDH Will Extend Premium Slowdown

    [October 10] HSA and HRA premiums are beginning to impact market psychology and will extend the existing slowdown in national average premium trend, CDMR predicted in an MCOL audio-conference Oct. 12. Our first-ever projection of the latest premium trend survey data to 2010 finds that HSA premiums are decreasing nationally, and we predict they will bottom out in 2007. HRA premiums are rising at less than half the trend for PPOs, and we predict they will continue at that pace for several more years.
